I’m AnuMa Jackie

My mission is to restore our relationship with Water as a living presence and sacred source of memory, consciousness, origin, and life itself—awakening remembrance, deeper embodiment, ecological consciousness, and a profound sense of belonging to Mother Earth, the ocean, the whales as guardians of Earth’s living memory, and to Life Herself, of whom we and all living beings are a part.

I have long walked an inner and outer path guided by the Magdalene, the Great Mother, and Water as a living sacred presence—a path of remembrance, devotion, and embodied knowing that deeply shaped my life long before it found words.

For many years, I have translated languages. Yet beneath language itself, another form of listening was quietly emerging—one rooted in the body, in silence, in presence, and in the living intelligence of Water. My writing became a way of listening, remembering, and allowing what is sacred and alive to move through breath, rhythm, sensation, and love.

I am also co-author of Magdalene Unveiled, a work devoted to restoring Magdalene’s voice and wisdom through embodied encounters and lived experience. Alongside this, I have long written poems inspired by Mary Magdalene, the Great Mother, and Water—listening, translating, and allowing what feels ancient, feminine, and deeply alive to move through words.

Through Return to the Womb of Life and the living sanctuary unfolding through MATRIA AQUA, my mission is to restore our relationship with Water as a living presence and sacred source of memory, consciousness, origin, and life itself.

Through this work, I seek to awaken remembrance, deeper embodiment, ecological awareness, and a profound sense of belonging to Mother Earth, the ocean, and to Life Herself, of whom all living beings are a part.
